Q: What type of equipment do you use?

A: We use a state-of-the-art digital single-lens reflex camera (DSLR) with a wide-angle lens (not a fish-eye). Because the photographers use the identical camera system, shooting technique and editing style, we can assure our customer that image quality will be consistent.

This affords an incredible amount of detail / dynamic range that assures crisp, pristine and extremely high-quality results. Call us to discuss fees for this type of commercial / architectural photography.

Q: Once I pay for the pictures, are they mine to keep and use however I want?

A: Please review (download) our usage rights.  We are always open to assisting with a mutually-acceptable alternative arrangement. While our images do not contain a visible watermark, they are nonetheless protected by copyright law.

Q: How long does a photo shoot take?

A: It all depends on the size of the property and any requested nuances or ancillary services. For a normal shoot, we allocate up to 1.5 hours.

Q: What is a twilight shoot?

A: Some consider twilight to be the best type of light for architectural photography. Google defines it as "the soft glowing light from the sky when the sun is below the horizon caused by the refraction and scattering of the sun's rays from the atmosphere". This type of light does not last long and so timing and skill is of the essence when using it for exterior photography. See our Sample Images page for examples of this ancillary and unique service.
